The recently released Australian Institute of Health and Welfare Report highlights the delays in older people accessing aged care.
According to the report, of those older people assessed as requiring care servcies, 30 percent had not accessed a care services package within 3 months. Ian Yates, the Chief Executive of COTA has urged the coalition government to dump aged care rationing based on the report.
